On Okaloosa Island there were 15 properties closed for single family homes and condos combined and 6 placed under contract. In Navarre Beach, 6 properties closed, and 5 properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida earned over $51 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during August.
A bay front, five-bedroom home in Indian Bayou was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $3.45 million while the highest priced condo to close was a gulf front, four-bedroom residence at Waterview Towers Yacht Club for $1.742 million.
The highest priced home sold in Miramar Beach was a lake front, four-bedroom residence in Burnt Pine in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort for $3.425 million. A gulf front, three-bedroom unit in Grand Dunes North Tower was the highest priced Miramar Beach condo to sell at $2.25 million.
A three-bedroom home with a private pool was the highest priced property to close on Okaloosa Island during August at $630,000 while the highest priced condo to sell was a gulf front, four-bedroom unit in Blue for $1.7 million.
In Navarre Beach, the highest priced single-family home to sell was a four-bedroom residence in By the Sea for $939,000 while the highest price condo to sell was a gulf front, two-bedroom at The Pearl of Navarre for $765,000.
