City Food Hall recently announced it will be bringing a new location of its unique concept to Destin Commons, slated to open in Spring 2022. City Food Hall will showcase more than ten specialty restaurant concepts, offering cuisines from around the globe. Talented local chefs will serve dishes from countries including Mexico, Japan, and Israel, along with U.S. favorites from cities like Nashville. In addition, the location will have a TopGolf Swing Suites and a bar.
With the variety of cuisine choices, City Food Hall will offer something for everyone making it perfect for couples, families, and groups to enjoy a fun evening together. Founders Peter Rounce and Kenzie Motai met while working on the launch of St. Roch Market (now known as MIA Market) in Miami. The duo have now successfully launched six food halls in five U.S. states. The Destin location and a new Gainesville location will be the first of the team’s concepts to open in North Florida.
“City Food Hall will be your go-to, favorite gathering place,” said Motai, the group’s COO. “Diners can expect a variety of global cuisines prepared by beloved local chefs. In addition to great food, you can find delicious drinks made fresh in our central bar where we’ll have natural wines, local beers, and classic cocktails. We know that great food unites people, and after 2020 and 2021, we wanted to create gathering places where people can be with friends, family, and their communities to share great food and drinks, with a side of entertainment.”
The company has formed a new partnership with Topgolf Swing Suites to bring global cuisine and multi-sport games under one roof, offering a new level of entertainment for guests seeking a fun, new experience. City Food Hall will be a place for everyone and aims to build long-term relationships with soon-to-be regular clientele.
“We are extremely proud to introduce Topgolf Swing Suites as our new partner,” said Rounce, CEO. “Each Swing Suite features a state-of-the-art full swing simulator with a variety of multi-sport games, as well as HDTVs, comfortable lounge seating, and food and beverage offerings from any of our curated, in-house eateries. With something for everyone, City Food Hall is a community where everyone can eat, drink and play – offering next-level entertainment that has never existed in a traditional food hall.”
