Imagine sitting in WaterColor’s picturesque Cerulean Park soaking up a warm Gulf breeze while sipping on the most delicious wine and eating the most delicious food. Sounds like a dream? What if we told you it wasn’t? The 2019 Harvest Wine & Food Festival on October 24-26, 2019 will feature over 250 wines from around the world, paired with seafood, BBQ and other delectable dishes. Not a wine enthusiast? Not a problem, craft beer and spirits are also available.
Founded in 2005, Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) produces the festival and has donated more than $15 million to Northwest Florida charities by hosting world-class wine and culinary events like the Harvest Wine & Food Festival. These funds have impacted the lives of over 90,000 at-risk youth in the local community. DCWAF has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Charity Wine Auction in the U.S. for the second year in a row.
This year’s festival will feature a silent auction highlighting a variety of rare wines, staycations and unique experiences. The auction starts on Friday, October 25 at 9 AM and runs through Sunday, October 27 at noon. The actual bidding will take place on the Give Smart mobile bidding platform. Not a techy person? Give Smart attendants will be on-site to help you register and answer any questions you might have about bidding.
