January Sales in Review · Emerald Coast

Pending contracts increased while sales were down in January for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets with 84 properties closed and 115 new contracts secured for homes and condos combined. In Navarre Beach, sales fell slightly with 6 single family home and condominium sales and 6 properties placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $60 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during January.

A seven bedroom home in Crystal Shores was the highest priced single family home to sell in Destin at $2.01 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a bay view, three bedroom estate in Burnt Pine in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at $3.2 million.  


The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a gulf front, four bedroom residence in Villa Coyoba for $2.35 million. A gulf front, four bedroom unit in Hidden Dunes Grand Villas was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $2.5 million.


In Navarre Beach, the highest price home to sell was a gulf view, six bedroom residence in By the Sea for $1.7 million while the highest priced condo to sell was a gulf front, three bedroom residence in the Navarre Beach Recency for $1.15 million.
