July Sales in Review · Emerald Coast

The Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets remained consistent during July with 95 homes and condos closed and 89 new contracts. On Okaloosa Island there were 21 properties closed for single family homes and condos combined and 13 placed under contract. In Navarre Beach, 4 properties closed, and 5 properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida earned over $52 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during July.

A bay front, six-bedroom home in Kelly Plantation was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $6.095 million while the highest priced condo to close was a gulf front, three-bedroom residence at St. Maarten at Silver Shells for $1.63 million.


The highest priced home sold in Miramar Beach was a gulf view, six-bedroom residence in Gulf Pines for $5.6 million. A gulf front, three-bedroom unit in Grand Dunes South Tower was the highest priced Miramar Beach condo to sell at $2.95 million.

The highest priced home closed on Okaloosa Island during May was a three-bedroom residence at $700,000 while the highest priced condo to sell was a gulf front, two-bedroom unit in Waterscape for $740,000.


In Navarre Beach, the highest priced single-family home to sell was a sound view, four-bedroom residence in By the Sea for $985,000 while the highest price condo to sell was a gulf front, two-bedroom at Sundunes Condo for $583,000.
