
Sales increased in the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets during March with 187 properties closed (up from 120 in February) and 123 new contracts secured for homes and condos combined. Navarre Beach experienced a decrease in activity with 3 single family home and condominium sales combined and 7 properties placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $89 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during March.
A canal front, six bedroom home on Holiday Isle was the highest priced single family home to sell in Destin at $3 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a lake front, four bedroom residence in Island Estates in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at $3.075 million.


The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a gulf front, three bedroom condo in St. Thomas at Silver Shells for $2.615 million. A gulf view, four bedroom residence in One Beach Club Drive in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $2.45 million.


In Navarre Beach, the highest priced home to sell was a gulf view, four bedroom residence in Sailmaker Cove for $1.6 million while the highest priced condo to sell was a gulf front, three bedroom residence in Beach Colony Resort for $910,000.
