Join us for our annual Fourth of July Concert & Celebration! but AMPED! Kick things off with a concert from Reid Soria with Autism Sings LLC at 6PM and a Vintage Fly Over at 6PM. The Manly Hero Band takes the state from 7PM to 9PM followed by fireworks and fire spinning by Autumn Lyfe at 9PM.

Join us this 4th of July for our spectacular Red, White, and Baytowne celebration! Enjoy LIVE music from Below Alabama on the Events Plaza Stage from 7:00-9:15pm, followed by a fireworks display that will light up the night sky at 9:15pm. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will also host kids activities including kids crafts, face painting, and balloon sculpting.

Join us for our annual Independence Day Celebration in Seaside with fun taking place throughout the day! Kick things off with a block party in Central Square with a performance by The Rep, concert from Huck & Lilly, Bike Decorating Contest and Hot Dog Eating Contest. In the evening, enjoy a special Sinfonia Gulf Coast Pops Concert in the amphitheater followed by a spectacular fireworks display!

Locals and visitors from all over look forward to the annual Pensacola Beach Air Show held in the summer. The show highlights our hometown heroes — the Blue Angels — the U. S. Navy’s flight demonstration squadron stationed at Forrest Sherman Field aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola. The Blues hold several practice sessions along the beach in the days leading up to the big event on show day.

Walton County Sheriff’s Office is excited to host our annual Back-to-School Splash Bash and backpack giveaway! This event will be held by Walton County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Deputies at Wee Care Park in DeFuniak Springs from 11AM – 2PM. Hot dogs and snow cones will be available for all who attend. Backpacks will be given out on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis along with some basic school supplies. We will have inflatable slides, bouncy houses, and kid’s activities for fun for the whole family!
